Home Office Dreaming...

Home offices are all the rage these days. Growing up I never even remember seeing one and we sure didn’t have one as nobody had a computer at home. Well not anymore… As technology has taken over and more and more people are working out of their homes, the “must have” room now is the office. Not the throw your junk in there and shut the door variety, the pretty and useful type.

I want one… In fact someway, somehow I will work one into my next floor plan – a narrow room off a room for a desk, samples, files and storage. I can’t wait. In this one featured not too long ago in AD, we get a glimpse of what appears to be exactly what I’m dreaming up off the master bedroom … I love the floating shelves and the crisp, clean storage boxes. This could work.

I also like the idea of having an office off the kitchen or living space, and although it may be small, a window is a must have, plus a few more things - a pretty desk, a lamp, a great chair, artwork or wallpaper, a TV, an amazing chandelier, and the list goes on and on - a lot for a little room.

PS: I really Love the simple plaster details in this room too...
