I got my AD last night and found another kitchen to Love…
It belongs to Brooke Shields. Lucky girl… This is just one of many well designed rooms she’s sharing with is this month. Who wouldn’t be thrilled to have a fireplace in the kitchen – a big perk. I know… My sister has one too. The coziness it brings is unmistakable – you can’t help but want to stay.
I also love her small bar, perfect for a vintage decanter collection and pretty wine glasses. And how can I not comment on the eat-in layout? It’s absolutely divine, and always on my wish-list.
There is one drawback though - not for her, for us. I wish we could see more….

Would one of our gas fireplaces work? because I so want this look.
Interesting if those lines in the crown are Central Air, that are the least obtrusive I have seen.
Interesting that they chose the same tile on the fireplace as the backsplash.

That would work if you run a gas line or as an alternative you could put in an ecosmart flame. That floor is glossy! In some of the other images, it looked like it was still wet. Although these are the exact opposite of my super matt floors, they look pretty cool too too...
I love the shelf over the range. Does anyone know where to find one?
Good question. The shelf was likely custom made as it would have to be made of something that could withstand the heat of the burners. The brackets however you could likely get at a high end hardware store or salvage yard.
If you google stainless kitchen shelf a lot of things come up. Looks like there are floating ones too(Danver). They could likely customize one for you if you ask them and pair that wth some pretty brackets.
