Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...

I love these mirrored square tiles – they look amazzzzzing. I’ve had this very thing on my wish list for ages for another one of my someday renovations...

Whether in a bath, an entry or a living/dining space, this would work wonders. What a great way to draw light in and create the visual perception of more space. No doubt, I’m sold…

BUT there are a few little things to work out beforehand:

The mirror – clear or distressed? The antique mirror gives it a subdued smoky look, but finding the right distressed mirror is difficult.

To bevel or not to bevel – yes, that is the question. And if a bevel, thick or super thin?

And what do you place in the corner joints? I’d probably go for a glass or Lucite flower or maybe something metal - similar to the old Venetian mirrors I love to collect.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, what is the best way to do this after all?"

Go to a shop that cuts mirror and ask about pricing for antique mirror. They can cut it to order. I would also ask if they can order a stock size.
