I’m a big fan of having a shoe closet, and I build one in whenever I can. In this apartment I had an ideal 3 foot wide space beside an oddly placed structural column. Crazy wall or shoe closet? The decision there was a fast one.
My shoe closets are never in plain sight, but hidden behind a beautiful door. Organized yes, but not this pretty – when you’re tight on space you have to stack and pack them in. For now function over style…
