Coming back from a weekend trip to the Hamptons to visit a friend, I was flipping through Hamptons Cottages and Gardens and stumbled on this esthetic rock star - La Cornue.
It was love at first sight for me…
It comes from France, no surprise there, and the company has been making them since 1908. With only 60 employees, they only build several hundred a year. Another plus - each one is assembled by hand by one person to make sure every last detail is perfect. Talk about special…
The customizing aspect is also a winner in my book. It comes in 24 colored enamels and two metallic finishes - satin finished brass or shiny stainless steel and chrome.
Sign me up for the shiny chrome, please and a lotto ticket. As you can imagine it’s no bargain, but then again a girl’s gotta dream…

Who would ever want to leave this kitchen? I especially like how most of the doors swing open sideways. Also, did you notice - one more set of cute hidden kitchen drawers to stash your secrets!
This kitchen has a great casual vibe - cute dog too. I did not think of the sideways opening of the doors - that would be really great too. As if there isn't enough to love already.
