It Is What It Is...…
I was recently shopping for towel bars for my bathroom and everything I liked was pretty pricey. I also wanted a very long one which apparently does not exist.
After looking at enough of them and comparing my options, I realized what I really wanted was the exact same hardware and rod I traditionally use for curtains. Light bulb on - why not make my own from individual pieces?
I bought two ends with hidden screws, a lucite rod and a matching center support, so I could have one very long towel bar, rather than two. Perfect as instantly I got exactly what I wanted in a custom size, and nobody will ever know the difference, because there isn’t one.
I have no idea why I never thought of using curtain harware before, but have to say I was pretty proud of myself on this one. Has everyone else been doing this all along? I wonder....

Brilliant idea and one that will solve my towel hanging issues. I am new to your blog but will be returning regularly, I love your style.
Thank you! I am so glad you found it. Renovations are months of problem solving. Sometimes the frustration of looking for something you cannot find creates an even better solution.
