I just got my AD yesterday and was drawn in by this living space storage/display wall on page 112. There’s always a delicate balance when you’re trying to design – display space or storage, or both?
Here they’ve created a mix of the two, designed cleverly in a random geometric pattern to throw you off track. Note the pretty metallic backsides too. In fact if you weren’t looking closely, you’d miss the storage aspect of the room all together. I’m liking this concept...
PS: I wonder what’s behind these doors? The openings vary in size a lot and one even appears to be a drawer. Very cool, and a very smart way to stay super organized….
