This is an interesting way to set-up a room share – back to back vs the usual alternatives: bunks, L shaped, or side to side. Separated only by q 2-sided headboard,each side feels as if the space is all theirs. I'm liking it... I'm also liking the size of the room, the windows, and the iron balconies outside. What's not to like? It's all good...
The design symmetry here is smart thinking - you almost forget there are 2 sides to this story. BUT you could go another way...give each side its own color and pattern or suspend curtains between the two so the room could be open or closed. Either way this arrangement is a keeper. Pretty cool...
