I love the floating quality of this chair and it’s all attributable to one thing – Lucite.
It’s no secret. I love-love-love Lucite. Unlike glass, it has a pure clear quality that lacks the dreaded green edge shadow. It seems silly, but the green edge on glass and mirror bugs me, and although there’s a way around this with the star fire variety, it comes at a hefty price.
This chair at a glance is an average slipper but the legs make it way more than that - stunning. Honestly, I could have Lucite legs on almost everything…
Lucite always brings in an element of glam, drawing in attention, while also pulling a subtle disappearing act. A pure contradiction of sorts, but magical all the same…

I too am nuts about lucite...it is fabulous!
Same here, I love lucite and I adore that chair.
I love how you use lucite in your designs to enhance the feeling of in spaciousness, especially in apartments where every square foot counts. A subtle detail that makes a big impact..
The only drawback - it scratches - I guess you can't have everything...
