At the art expo I ran across these amazing wild things by Bob Ransley at Huckleberry Fine Art. These would be great for kids rooms, play spaces, or dens, and I’m almost positive I’ve seen them before at my vet’s office. I’ll know soon, as Kitty and I are headed there this week for a check-up.
The art expo was huge, yet out of so many, only about a handful of artists caught my eye like this one. In fact within an instant of seeing him I wanted to take this little hippo home with me.
My other favorites - check out the lion and the giraffes online. Seeing them in person is a different experience all together though, as the texture and color make them jump off the canvas:

You know, I looked at the hippo painting yesterday and totally couldn't see it - all I saw was what looks like three men carrying something.... isn't that strange. Then came to visit today and saw the hippo straight away! I love it.
