I’m not a fan of the color red in general, but I love to tune into the red carpet whenever I can. It’s a perfect girls night in to ohh and ahhh over fashion. Add a little champagne and some yummy food, and you have a party.
My two favorites on the red carpet this time around were Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon - loved them both from the dresses to the hair. And seeing Anne Hathaway transform herself minute by minute was entertainment in and of itself. BTW her last black see-through number was a stunner. Overall I’d say there were many winners and very few misses.

Speaking of red carpet…
My current apartment un-renovated had wall to wall red carpet in every room the first time I saw it. When I opened the door I was stunned - red carpet plus some faint neon coming in through the massive window and I felt like I was in the red light district - I kid you not. It’s now gone, thank goodness, but the vision is a memorable one – a sight I only wish to see again at the next red carpet…

I thought Reese Witherspoon looked amazing. They said she looked like a real life Oscar Barbie doll and it's true, lol.
Yikes on that red carpet. What were they thinking?
A barbie - you are spot on there.
Regarding the carpet, the woman who occupied the apartment before me was there for over 30 years, so maybe it was the rage back then. And who knows, maybe it was there before her. I would love to see how it was decorated...
