Going Big…

I’ve walked by Reiss on the Upper West Side a million times and am always drawn in by the wallpaper – it’s the perfect backdrop for pretty clothes, or anything else for that matter...

I want something like this. The scale is amazing – it’s mural-like rather than your typical repeating design, but yet, it’s wallpaper. Going big is nothing new to me. I’m always designing for height and the perception of having more space than I actually have - tall doors, high ceilings, large moldings, low furniture, and floor to ceiling cabinetry all do the trick. This would too…

I wish I knew where it came from, I’ve asked, and so far no luck. Any ideas? This may be the perfect time to look into custom, because each and every time I walk by, I’m smitten …
