There are all sorts of feelings you can get from good design – warm, elegant, cozy, bright, calm, sophisticated, glam, artistic, mod... and so many more. But in some spaces I see fun or what I call happy design.
And this is it. I've had this page in my save file for ages, and I just LOVE IT....
I never tire of the way it makes me feel - bright colors against crisp white walls, and those wall shelves - perfect for displaying quirky collections: vintage petal bathing caps this month and something else the next.
And she, as cute as she is, is also part of the design - no doubt she belongs there...
Happy design is a great everyday topic, but especially at the end of the week, when we all feel more blissful - dreaming of fun and lazy days off....

ReplyDeleteFunny you blogged this yesterday. I have had it sitting im my pile thinking it would be a good Friday post at some point. I think it is pretty old too - not sure where it came from. Looks like it's a keeper for a lot of us...
I can't find the sofa online! I love it and want one for my house! Did you get it recently or is it discontinued?
