I loved this space at the Showtime Showhouse in Gramercy last year. It was a very long and narrow room with the entrance mid-center – an awkward space to figure out what to do with, much less decorate. BUT the designer in this room had no trouble integrating the two spaces into one. I thought this room was absolute genius and a great use of a small space.
A banquette built-in sectional sofa coupled with a TV on either end made it a great hang-out space; while the mirror on both ends of the room compensated for the low ceilings and made it seem more open and unified. I also love the designer’s sense of repetition - repeating coffee tables, light fixtures, and window treatments helped tie the room together. Layer in one long shag runner and you’ve got perfection – super soft and comfy…
Now who could highlight this room without taking about the color? A very bold Shocking Pink. Wow - I Loved it. I see this as a teenage or my-age girly lounge space. OK, I want one.
Now pass me a pink Cosmo please…

I love that even though it is almopst all pink he managed to give the room depth. And girl screw a plain pink cosmo..have you had pink PUNK cosmo?! It includes fresh spun cotton candy. It will knock your socks off :o)
Love! Love the color and love it all.
Cotton Candy is a fav of mine. I even settle for Fluffy Stuff on occasion if I get desperate.
